For a while my whole catalog of self lived in a single document at adamanack.com, downloadable, finite, finished. Poor Richard had one. So did I.

Poor Adam's Almanack

The almanack is the seed. Pangaea is what happens when you stop trying to bind a life into one book and let it sprawl across a website instead. Same impulse: keep a record, make it useful, ship it before it is ready. Different form: a living catalog instead of a single artifact, posts instead of pages, daily instead of annual.

If you want the prehistory of this place, the PDF is still there. The lineage runs: Poor Richard → Poor Adam → Pangaea. The construction does not stop.
